How to Cancel Paramount+ on the Website
Go to paramountplus.com and sign in. Click your profile icon in the top-right and select "Account". Under the "Subscription" section, click "Cancel Subscription". Follow the cancellation prompts — Paramount+ may offer a discounted month to stay. Confirm to finish. Your access continues until the billing period ends. If you don't see a cancel button but instead see a note about your billing platform, cancel through that platform instead.
Cancelling Through Apple, Amazon, or Roku
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel. Through Amazon Prime Video Channels: Prime Video → Channels → Paramount+ → Cancel Channel. On Roku: my.roku.com → Manage subscriptions → Paramount+ → Cancel. Through your cable provider: log in to your provider's account portal and look for "Add-ons" or "Subscriptions" — Paramount+ often appears there for cable bundles.
Paramount+ with Showtime: Bundled Content
The Paramount+ with Showtime tier ($11.99/month) bundles Paramount+ Premium with Showtime's content. Cancelling this removes access to both. If you only want Showtime content, you'd need to subscribe to Showtime separately after cancelling — but note that Paramount+ has been migrating much Showtime content onto the Paramount+ platform, so a standalone Showtime subscription covers less than it used to. Check whether your specific Showtime titles are available before paying for both.
What Stays Available After Cancellation
Paramount+ does not have a meaningful free tier — cancellation means full loss of access to all content. Your watchlist and profile settings are preserved for 30 days in case you resubscribe. After 30 days, your data is deleted. Paramount+ does not offer offline downloads on the Essential plan, so there are no downloaded videos to worry about. If you want to continue watching CBS live or on-demand, you can also access some CBS content free via CBS.com or the CBS app with a Paramount+ free trial, though this is limited.
